Our Story
Thank you for taking in interest in our story and what we make!
At the age of 18 years old, Chris Richard set out on a journey to learn the leather trade. Spurred on by an entrepreneurial spirit and love for handcrafting, C. Richard's Leather was born! After purchasing his first sewing machine and spending countless hours at R&D, Chris sold his first leather wallet in late 2015. Over the last decade, C. Richard's has grown into an industry leading leather crafting company that now specializes in customized leather patch headwear and serves over 25,000 customers nationwide! From humble beginnings in a small garage, today C Richard's has grown to a team of 10, who help to carry on the mission of quality and fine craftsmanship that got it all started!

Founder
Chris wears many hats around C. Richard's! His passion for leather and running a business keeps him very busy! He enjoys working with customers and LOVES leather!
Josh
Production Manager
Josh can be found running around the shop helping to keep daily operations running optimally! He is also an expert stitcher and an amazing chef!
Jon
Laser Tech.
Jon is the laserman! He is responsible to ensuring that every leather engraving is crisp, clean, and sharp! He also has a great sense of humor and can strike up a conversation with anyone!
Kaitlynn
Stitcher
Kaitlynn has been with C. Richard's for many years and works very hard in our stitching department. Her attention to detail help ensure that every product is is stitched to last.
Courtney
Customer Service & more
Courtney is at the heart of customer service at C. Richard's! She love assisting customers and hops into production wherever is most needed. Her positive attitude and get-it-done mindset contribute greatly to the team effort!

Hat Crafter
Anna stays very busy at C. Richard's to say the least! She handles specialized design work and is a rockstar at crafting hats. She has a keen eye for detail, and ensures that every product is top knotch quality!

Hat Crafter
Lauri can most often be found at her station carefully prepping headwear and patches for stitching. She is very hardworking and is one of the kindest and funny people you'll meet!

Graphic Design
Allie is our design specialist here at C. Richard's! She also assist with mockups and order set up. Her keen eye and design expertise help keep the digital operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Team Support
Ann is one of our newest members at C. Richard's. She assists with leather cutting, patch cleaning, and is an up-and-coming stitcher! She has a positive personality and is a pleasure to have on the team!

Stitcher
Tim is a true hat guy, and likes to rotate his hat of choice daily! He stays busy stitching and has a keen eye for detail. Tim also has a great sense of humor and can have a conversation about anything with anyone!
